The year of the wedding photo book

I got married in 2008 and for the past year (on and off) I have been working on an online photo scrapbook of my year of the wedding, from the engagement to the reception. I used picaboo.com to build my book. Because of the price I didn't get it printed until they had a 50% off promotion. I created custom backgrounds for each section like the inspiration, the reception, the ceremony and etc. The background colours matched the colours of my wedding black, white and blue.

Here are a few of the pages.

My new hat model

Making baby hats wil be so much more fun with my readily available model. My little boy is now 5 months old and keeps his head up on his own, which makes it easier to take pictures.

Colouring book Christmas gift

I'm working on a homemade colouring book for my niece, who is 6. I used Photoshop to apply a photocopy filter to an image and voila a colouring book page is complete. I'm going to create about 60 images to keep her attention. Here are some of the one's I've done so far.

One of my favourite blogs

I haven't been reading this blog for very long but it is one of my top 5 blogs to check in on weekly. Attic24 crochets wonderful, colourful things, she bakes delicious treats and is also a busy mom. Check her out. There is also a flickr group where crafters post pictures of their crafts that were inspired by Attic24.
